    Melissa Nathoo
     Melissa Nathoo’s parents are from Mauritius, She presents the Film Review programme on ITV, As a journalist she has interviewed such personali- ties as Formula One Champion Lewis Hamilton and film star Denzel Washington. She is former Miss Mauritius (GB) competition organised by Mauritius News in London.
Selina Permaloo’s parents are also from Mauritius. With a passion for cooking she entered and won the 2012 edi- tion of the BBC TV Masterchef competition. She has opened her own restaurant Lakaz Maman in Southamp- ton where she was born. She has two cookery books to her name: ‘Sunshine on a plate’, and The Sunshine Diet’. The second book contains recipes to help people to lose weight and feel good.
Rav Wilding
Rav Wilding’s father is Mauritian and his mother is English. He is a television presenter and has presented the various edi- tions of Crimewatch, and other programmes. A weight lifter, he has been a soldier, a policeman, a Detective Constable in the Metropolitan Service. He too has competed in the TV shows Strictly Come Dancing and Mastermind. He won an edition of the Weakest Link TV Quiz as well as the ‘Ready Steady Cook’ competition. A brave person, he spent three months in an Aus- tralian rain forest for a television programme.
