Peter Chellen brings with him 32 years of experience of managing and editing a publication among the overseas Mauritian community. He was the founder of the UK publication, Mauritius News, in November 1983 and was the Managing Director of its publishing company, The Mauritius Publishing Company Ltd (MPCL), registered with Companies House in London.
He was the managing editor of Mauritius News from 1983 to 2015 when the company and the title were sold. (See back copies at https://www.mauritiusnewsonline.net)
In 2017, Peter Chellen founded the UK Mauritian Gazette later converted into the online Mauritian Overseas Gazette (MOG).
